HAPPY GOOD FRIDAY!

HAPPY NATIONAL HUG YOUR DOG DAY!

Both of these holidays represent love...the love of Jesus and our Father who gave His only begotten Son (John 3:16) , the love that we have for our dog(s), and the love our dog has for us.

Jesus' love is unconditional, just as our dog's love is for us.  Although Jesus' love  is stronger and undying because there is nothing that can separate us from His love (Romans 8:39), our dog's love is incredibly strong. We could learn from them both!

Jesus' love is arms wide open, so welcoming and so accepting! Our dog's love is always being excited to see us when we get home, so welcoming and so accepting!

Oh, how our dogs dance around when it's time to eat and how they wag their tails when we talk to them.  Like Jesus, our dogs are attentive to our voice.

So let's love on both...

Jesus sacrificed His life for us to save us from our sins. Our dogs are so protective of us because they will sacrifice themselves in order to keep us from danger.  Jesus protects us from harm, too. (Psalm 91)

HAPPY GOOD FRIDAY! HAPPY NATIONAL HUG YOUR DOG DAY!

CALL TO ACTION:

  1. Praise God and remember Jesus' sacrifice for us!
  2. Give your dog(s) and family a great big hug!
  3. Have a wonderful Easter weekend!
